Today’s Challenge is to get outside…

This has been much easier for some, as COVID has given many of us more time to “recreate” and, getting out of the house is a great break from being inside.

Think back to your childhood and how much time you spent outside. That time wasn’t spent with a purpose (fitness walk, dog-walking while you catch up on emails etc). It was spent exploring and just being in the moment. Nature helps with that…

Spend some “childhood” time outside today – try for 20 minutes if you can… make a note on how you spent that time. How did it feel just “being” outside without a purpose? Did you feel playful, stressed with “nothing to do”? There is no right or wrong answer – just awareness 😉

For inspiration, bring your dog (to play) or child or grandchild if you have one and watch what their outdoor experience is all about! This is a great experience for just seeing how you feel about play and making notes in your journal.
