Connecting with Nature is often about appreciating and reflecting on it’s amazing complexity and beauty…

Something as everyday/mundane as a snowflake is truly amazing! Some of you may remember doing the following as a kid (especially if you attended Brick Street public school in the late 60’s, lol)

Today's Challenge is to find a piece of dark paper (navy, black is best). If it's snowing (or next time it snows), take that paper outside and catch a snowflake or two. The dark paper will enhance the delicate crystalline structure of each snowflake. Notice the differences between each snowflake.

Your adult brain will tell you it’s the water freezing into it’s crystalline structure… try thinking with you child brain and marvel at how nature can create such a beautiful thing!

Science can be magical too…!
